Anyone else using autoplay and the video that autoplays is for some reason set to mute? Any way to fix?

    Hi Reuben,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Could you please let us know which specific lesson or video you encountered this issue in? Also, if possible, share the device and browser you are using so we can investigate further and help identify a fix.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,

      Hey Nikee,

This is happening on every video after the first one and only happens when AutoPlay feature is turned on. The first video is fine, but the second video audio starts in a muted state. I’ve tried this across two different browsers on two different devices that were connected at the time to two different internet connections so I’m pretty sure this isn’t on my end. I first noticed it when I opened the ticket I was using my MacBook Pro connected to my home internet connection using my Firefox Browser. Yesterday I the same issue occured, I was using my iPhone connected to my daughters dance studio’s wireless network. I was using the safari browser on my iPhone.

    Hi Reuben,

Thank you for the detailed information and for testing this across multiple devices, browsers, and networks.

We checked the autoplay behavior on our end, and it appears to be working properly. In some cases, browsers and mobile devices automatically mute autoplay videos due to built-in media playback policies, especially after transitioning between videos.

We recommend trying the following steps:

    • Clear your browser cache and cookies
    • Disable and re-enable the autoplay feature
    • Try using a private/incognito browser window
    • Ensure that the browser site settings allow autoplay with sound
    • Update your browser to the latest version

Please let us know if the issue persists after trying these steps, and feel free to share a screen recording if possible so we can investigate further.

    Best regards,
    Nikee @ Tutorials Dojo
