AWS Certify Security – Specialty

Passed AWS Security Specialty Certification exam.
Got questions from Control Tower, Organization, Inspector, Config, Guard Duty, Trusted Advisor, SSM, Macie, SCP, External ID, AAD Encryption-Context, STS, MFA in AssumeRole, Federation.

Policy statement in IAM Policy, Resource Policy, SCP policy Deny all but not x
S3 Encryption, EBS Encryption, ELB & CloudFront, Direct Connect (SSL, VPN), NACL, SG and few networking questions surprised me. Secret Manager, Parameter Manager, SSM session manager (SSH), EC2 compromise issue, access key exposed, cross account access all that is needed.
I recommend do the Deep Dive in IAM and Certification Exam Readiness for Security Specialty available free AWS digital training. I did the course from Udemy Chandra Lingam, Zeal Vora, TD practice test, Reinvent videos and AWS documentation.

Please read AWS documentation.

Learn to write policy, know all its constructs like Action-NotAction, Principal NotPrincipal, Conditions, variables.

Service: What it does, What other services are required for this service, What permissions are required and how to apply the role. Check policies in AWS managed roles for the services. Troubleshoot for each service. Read Documentation for each service.
The test is more difficult than TD or online practice Test.
