I think there’s a mistake in one question of the Azure az 104 mock exams course. If this isn’t a mistake, then I really don’t understand the question and would love some more explanation/guidance.

    See screenshots attached.

I don’t see why “Traffic between TD1 and TD2 can be load balanced by TDB1” should be false/no here. The explanation talks about issues with the backend pool configuration, but nothing in the question refers to that. From what information we have in the question, I would believe that “Traffic between TD1 and TD2 can be load balanced by TDB1” is true because the load balancer has the standard sku allowing it to use VMs from different subnets in the backend pool.

Am I misunderstanding something or is there an error in the test here?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

EDIT: attached the wrong pictures and I cannot attach any other now for some reason, here are the links to the screenshots

    Hello auretienne,

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this to our attention.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Upon reviewing, we can confirm that TD1 and TD2 are indeed in the same virtual network (TDVnet1), which means TDB1 can load balance traffic between them, even though they are in different subnets.

We will make the necessary updates, which should be reflected on the portal soon.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Regards,
