I received this question in practice exam 2

    “1

You purchased a Microsoft Entra ID Premium P2 license.

You plan to add a local administrator to manage all the computers and devices that will join your domain.

What do you need to configure in Microsoft Entra to satisfy this requirement?

Manage device settings through the Devices blade.

    Configure OAuth 2.0 authorization endpoint.

Enable app registrations in user settings.

    Configure group naming policy.1

This does not correlate well to the current 104 syllabus https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/resources/study-guides/az-104, it does correlate better to older syllabuses.

Some questions not covered directly by the syllabus, are none the less covered because of abstract concepts that the syllabus does cover, or answers the syllabus does rule out for you.

    • But that does not seem to be the case here?

It is important that there is a reasonable, critical mass of practice exams/questions.
This question is an exception (I hope) but it does matter that significantly irrelevant material (to the exam) is not included, as this can cause a lot of time to be lost if one then goes off and does thorough study in an area that is not relevant.

I get the impression that the library of five practice exams, is large part of an retention of old exams (for old syllabuses).
I am not aware of having seen much of this problem at all, but that is a hope, the whole point is I am not well qualified to be judge of that.
While I see no need to entirely waste old content that is still relevant, it would be nice to see old exams re-refined with respect to the odd question here or there, that are no longer current, and who’s study could constitute a significant loss of time, (assuming that is not already occurring). By that it would be nice to see them replaced, not simply removed.
