Hey guys, I just want to know if I misread this question. In which part of the question are you implying that the storage account container does not exist?

    When you said:

“There is a requirement to copy a virtual machine image to a container named tdimage from your on-premises datacenter. You need to provision an Azure Container Instance to host the container image.”

I’m assuming that the container already exists and there isn’t anything that dismisses this assumption. I know that one cannot make assumptions on this kind of exam because you need to always read between the lines in this particular question. The only other thing that rings a bell about containers is this line:

“You need to provision an Azure Container instance to host the container image.”

To my understanding, you can’t run a VM image in an Azure Container Instance (the actual service) but I think the question shouldn’t mix things up like that.

    Hello Alejandro Ochoa,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize for the confusion this question may have caused. The mention of Azure Container Instance is misleading in this context, since the task is about copying a VM image into a storage container using AzCopy. Also, nothing in the statement explicitly says the tdimage container does not exist, so your assumption that it already exists is reasonable.

We’ll review and make the necessary updates to ensure the distinction between a blob container and a container instance is clear and to avoid mixing concepts that could distract from the actual skill being tested. Your feedback helps us improve the clarity and fairness of the exam content.

Thank you again for pointing this out.

    Best regards,
    JR @ Tutorials Dojo
