Review Mode Set 2 – AZ-305 Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
    19. Question

As you said “While a blueprint assignment is associated with a blueprint definition with a specific scope, such as a subscription or management group
We can assign blueprint to Management group, and that will apply to all its subscription.
    also here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/blueprints/overview#blueprint-assignment

So why do you say as the answer to the second question (about assignment):
    5 (one for each subscription)
    instead of
3 (one for each management group)

What’s wrong with this approach? It’s less assignment

    Hi webrod,

Thank you for the question. Here’s why five blueprint assignments are needed instead of three.

In Azure, blueprint assignments must be made at the subscription level. This means that each subscription requires its own assignment to apply the blueprint settings.

In the given scenario, there are three management groups, but within them, there are five subscriptions (Tagaytay, Baguio, Boracay, Siargao, and Apo). Each subscription needs its own assignment to ensure the blueprint is applied correctly.

Using only three assignments —one for each management group— wouldn’t work because the blueprint needs to be assigned directly to each subscription. So, five assignments are needed, one for each subscription.

    Hope this helps clarify.

    Cheers,
