Subject: Bug report – Quiz auto-marks unanswered questions incorrect after internet interruption (Review Mode Set 3, SAP-C02)

    Body:

    Dear Support Team,

I’d like to report a bug I’ve hit twice now in Review Mode Set 3 of the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional practice exam. While this overlaps with the session/connectivity issues reported in the “Quiz Not saving results, frustrated” thread (2020-2022), the behavior I’m seeing has an additional and more disruptive symptom that I haven’t seen documented.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Start a long quiz in Review Mode (75 questions, 3-4 hours)
    2. Experience a brief internet interruption mid-quiz
    3. Reload the page
    4. Resume the quiz

Expected result: Previously answered questions are preserved; unanswered questions remain blank and interactive.

Actual result: All unanswered questions are automatically marked as incorrect, with correct answers pre-filled in green. It becomes impossible to answer them or continue the quiz in any meaningful way. The session is effectively terminated and all progress is lost.

Key difference from prior reports: The quiz does not simply fail to save – it actively corrupts the remaining questions by auto-submitting them with wrong answers. This makes even reviewing answered questions misleading.

Environment: Browser Chrome/Macos, “Review Mode Set 3 – AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional”, SAP-C02 practice exam. Reproduced twice under the same conditions.

Impact: 2-3 hours of study time lost per occurrence, with no way to recover the session.

Happy to provide browser console logs if that helps investigation.
