I know this site/simulator is in beta mode. I’m sorry I have to say that this is not even in beta mode. Could you please not release anything of this quality in future? This level quality will not do any good to your brand. It is pretty obvious that this site hasn’t been tested enough even for a beta release. Don’t try to cover up with the label “Beta mode” label. Even from the UI point of view this site is confusing. Please follow the flow of udemy site for an example. One very simple issue is it always show “start course label” and takes to the very first page even after I have completed one test. At least the label should be “Continue”. These simple things show the quality. In the next login, history of tests taken is not there. I can’t go and review my wrong answers. I have to do them again. This is not acceptable.. Very frustrated.. Please fix these small issues asap

Feel like getting a refund.. I will try to continue despite of “so-obvious” bugs. If it becomes too painful, Im going to definitely ask for a refund.

@Siteadmin Could you please add a feature to record history of attempts so that people can come back at anytime and review the wrong answers without going through the review mode from the beginning?

“Complete” button at the bottom is buggy. I will leave testing to you. Please fix that one as well. Cheers !!!

    Hi Asanka,

Thank you for posting your concerns here and we are here to help you out. First off, were you able to view our FAQs page? You will see there the instructions on how to navigate to our portal as well as how to proceed with the course refund if you wish to.

As for the history of previous attempts, again this feature is available in the portal and explained in the FAQ page – please jump to the section that says, “Where do I see my course progress and previous attempts?

We are saddened to hear that you are unhappy about the portal but it seems like you just need to thoroughly read the FAQ page to understand and learn more about the different features of our site. It’s natural to be confused at first especially if you are not yet familiar with the interface which is why we have put in place a very detailed FAQ page. Nonetheless, we acknowledge that we can further improve our portal in order to serve you better.

Feel free to request for a refund and look for other resources if you’re still not satisfied after checking out all the features and content available on our site. We do have a 15-day no questions asked, money-back guarantee.

Thanks Sensei. Appreciate it. After I logged out and logged in I could see the changes in labels. Glad to know that history feature is there. There are still bugs. Hope they will be taken care of soon. Keep up the good work. Cheers. I will close this thread.

@Administrator, on second thought, this history view is like the review mode. I’m just wondering if it shows the user’s wrong answers along with the correct answer? Am I missing something here

You can click the “Statistics” button then the “(view)” link for each item to show the question and the answer you’ve submitted on that test attempt. So yes, this is somewhat like a Review mode.

By the way, in order to streamline all website-related issues, I have moved your post to the “General Discussion” forum.

As requested, I have done an initial checking on your account and it seems that the issue you reported isn’t there at all. In your “My Courses” page, the progress of your course is clearly shown.

Moreover, you can easily navigate to courses right on your My Dashboard page. This is the very first page that you will see when you logged in to the Tutorials Dojo portal. It seems like you weren’t able to check this out since the top section contains your ranking, achievement, and points information.

To avoid this issue, I have re-arranged the My Dashboard page to show the course progress section first for now. I also want to know other people’s views about this change, so I might modify this user Dashboard again as necessary.

It seems that you got confused about how the system tracks the progress of the course. Take note that the practice test will be automatically tagged as completed only if you reached a passing score. Based on your record, you only reached a score of 52.31% in the Timed-Mode of your AWS Solutions Architect Associate course — which is not a passing mark.

The reason why we don’t automatically tag your progress for each test as “complete” is that, we want to ensure that you have passed all of the practice tests first before you take your actual AWS exam. Just imagine if people will see in their dashboard that the course is 100% complete. This will give them a false-positive that they are already ready to take the official AWS exam. That will be dangerous and more confusing don’t you think?

Nonetheless, I acknowledge that we have to further improve our portal in order to serve you better. I think we can implement an Auto-Complete feature instead of having a “Mark as Complete” button that you have to manually click. Rest assured that we will continually work and fix any issues on the site.

I actually started a forum thread last week asking our subscribers on how we can further improve our portal. It shows that we are quite open to feedback and we don’t cover up issues simply because we are still in Beta mode, just as you have alluded to:

Got any ideas on how improve the Tutorials Dojo portal?

Once again, if you are not happy with our product, feel free to proceed with the refund. Our apologies if we weren’t able to provide a great platform to help you review for the AWS exam that best suits your preference.

Let us know if you need assistance for the refund process. Alternatively, just follow the FAQ page for instructions.

I’ve been using this portal for a week now and it works great as expected. Udemy doesn’t even have half of what this site offers like review-mode, section-mode, flashcards and premium support like Jon and team provides.

The test history you’re talking about is right in front of your dashboard and is literally just one click a way. Same thing with the FAQ page.

Use it like a pro rather than going around just clicking buttons and reading headings and threads mindlessly. Then you will see it.

And I didn’t say Udemy is good or make this to look like Udemy. I asked to have a look at it and get an idea how it has provided a seamless flow to users without imposing any restrictions

“Use it like a pro” — says a guy who doesn’t even bother to check his My Dashboard page, where all of the things he’s looking for are there. There is literally 3 FAQ links in this portal that answers your question: One on the left-hand menu, One on the upper menu links and another one on the Profile drop-down menu on the upper right-hand side.

IMHO, a true “Pro” would have read a simple FAQ. Or at the very least, open up his Dashboard.

You should really explore the site first before complaining about its lack of features which, as it turns out, already exist in the first place. Your problem is more of a User error rather than a technical issue.

you sound like a work colleague of mine I used to work before. An absolute tool… You need to calm down keyboard hero…

I don’t have to read a freaking manual to find a very basic feature. It should be an obvious thing There was a genuine issue. It didn’t appear on my dashboard. I think it was a caching issue. I logged out and logged in (which I don’t do very often because most of the sites have remember me feature) then it appeared. They are still minor bugs and I have already reported to the right people using right channel.

Calm down Mr big mouth. Don’t be a joke. Cheers

“remember me feature” – Wow! Explained like a genuine ‘Pro’…

Not surprised considering your ability to understand. I didn’t explain remember me or KMLI feature there. I gave a reason why I don’t logout very often. Btw, if you don’t know what KMLI stands for, let me know I’m more than happy to explain you in private. Cheers mate !!!
