    Question:

A company has a suite of web applications that is heavily using RDS database in Multi-AZ Deployments configuration with several Read Replicas. For improved security, you were instructed to ensure that all of their database credentials, API keys, and other secrets are encrypted and rotated on a regular basis. You should also configure your applications to use the latest version of the encrypted credentials when connecting to the RDS database.

Which of the following is the MOST appropriate solution to secure the credentials?

Correct answer: Use AWS Secrets Manager to store and encrypt the credentials and enable automatic rotation.

I selected that selection. But, my answer marked as incorrect.

    Hi Nam,

Based on our checking, you took the Timed mode Set 4 of our AWS Certified Developer Associate practice exams. I checked your exam log, and I do see that you selected a different option, as seen in the image below. Your selected option is highlighted in red, while the correct answer is shown in green.

Happy to assist you if you have any other issues or concerns.

    Cheers,

    Jon Bonso
