I see more than half of the course is about main AWS services like ec2, databases, storage, etc… I feel like they outweigh the AI content so I wonder if they are there for those with little or no experience on AWS services? Otherwise I feel like there should be more AI content useful for the exam.
Should I expect more changes in that direction in the next weeks? Also, is there going to be more hands-on for AI content? I feel like there is too much theory.
Thanks!

Hi Roy,
Thanks for raising this!
The reason you’re seeing core AWS services like EC2, VPC, storage, and databases in the course is that these services are explicitly part of the official AIP-C01 exam guide. The exam expects you to understand how AI workloads interact with the broader AWS environment — so even though these aren’t AI-specific services, they are required knowledge for the certification.
That said, the course already includes a generous number of AI-focused questions, and we’re actively adding even more each week to fully match the AIP-C01 exam guide.
You’ll continue to see expanded coverage in areas such as:
-
Amazon Bedrock and generative AI workflows
-
Foundation models, customization, and evaluation
-
Guardrails and responsible AI
-
Vector search, embeddings, and RAG patterns
-
Deployment, scaling, and MLOps on AWS
Thanks again for the feedback, it helps us keep improving. More AI content and refinements are on the way!
