My course says I have 0% progress but I have done over half the tests in each of the sections. Should it still say this?

    Hi James,

Thank you for posting your question. If you passed a practice test, it will automatically be marked as completed ( with a strikethrough in the practice test title ). If you failed a test, then your course progress won’t be changed. If you completed and passed all of the practice tests in a section, then that section will be automatically completed and will automatically update the course progress. Previous attempts can be seen in your My Dashboard page.

If you are through on doing all practice tests of a specific section (e.g. Timed-mode or Review-mode section) but haven’t completed/passed all tests, then you can simply click the “Mark Complete” button to manually update the course progress.

We can actually change the system to automatically mark the practice test as completed even if the user hasn’t passed it but we are worried that it may give a false impression that the user is fully prepared even though he/she hasn’t fully passed all the tests.

Nonetheless, we are constantly improving our portal so we can serve you better. We actually just went live a month ago and I acknowledge that there are things that we can improve on in our systems.

Thank you for your understanding and let us know if you need further assistance. The Tutorials Dojo team is dedicated to help you pass your AWS exam on your first try!

    Regards,

    Jon Bonso @ Tutorials Dojo

      Hello Ahmed,

Thank you for posting here. 🙂
Your course progress and all previous attempts are recorded in My Dashboard, as stated in the FAQ page. You can access Tutorials Dojo Portal’s FAQ page anytime to better understand how to navigate the portal. Here’s the link for the that: https://portal.tutorialsdojo.com/faqs/

      Hope this helps! 🙂

Hi there, did you get the chance to read the response of Jon and Jessica above and skim through the FAQ page?

As mentioned by Jon, a test is only marked as complete by default once you have achieved a passing mark. You can also always manually mark them as complete if you wish to.

As mentioned by Jessica above, your course progress is saved in My Dashboard?

Did you try reading the FAQ, mate? There’s so much information in there. I highly suggest that you do, so you are able to navigate quickly and maximize the use of the portal.

    Hi TutorialsDojo,

Maybe you can have 2 ways of marking:

    – mark with strike-through if done & passed
    – mark differently if done & not passed
This makes it easier for your students to track what they have done already/what not.

I agree that showing 0% after doing quite a few tests already is rather confusing.

    Cheers,
    Robert

Thanks for the suggestion, Robert! We’ll certainly consider that for future improvement of the site. 🙂
