Difference Between Instance Family & Instance Type
-
Basically the title.
I did some research and based on my understanding, instance types are these ones:
General Purpose
Compute Optimized
etc.
Then instance families are these ones (for General Purpose):
A1, T4g, T3, T3a, T2, etc.
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
Thank you
