Hi community,
I have some wondering about passing score on exam, in official document score range is from 100 to 1000 points, whereas passing score is 720 points. so is passing score 620 pints or approximately 60% right question answer?
On the Cisco exam range is from 300 to 1000 and passing score is 850, so in reality for pass is necessary 550 points.
And additionally, my personal opinion is there are too much questions about databases, thing that balance in comparation with other exam objectives is not well sorted, this is solution architect exam, database architect exam is down the hallway, somebody agree with me?

Hello milence,
Thank you for the clarification. The SAA-C03 exam uses a scaled score system, not a simple percentage.
As outlined in the official AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) Exam Guide, the exam score is on a scale from 100 to 1000 points, with the passing score set at 720 points. This scaled score system is designed to account for differences in difficulty across various exam domains, ensuring fairness. As a result, the number of correct answers required to achieve a passing score may vary depending on the specific set of questions you encounter.
Regarding your concern about the practice exams primarily focusing on database-related questions, have you had a chance to check all the available practice exam modes? It may be helpful to ensure you see the full range of topics covered in the exam objectives.
We appreciate your input, and if you have any further questions or need guidance on specific areas, feel free to reach out. We’re here to assist with your preparation!
