    Hi, I have this repeated unpleasant user experience: after taking a practice exam (review mode), the result page shows only briefly and then auto refreshes while I am still in the middle of reviewing all the questions and taking notes. It never used to be like this before.😳. Now after the unpleasant interruption, I am forced to go the “Previous Attempts” section to see the exam result page, which only displays the questions by category + optionally filter by all, correct, incorrect questions. I really prefer to see them like in the exam (need not be in the exact order) with random ordering of categories.

    Is there a way to defer the auto refresh of exam result page in the browser? (75 questions and detailed explanations take a while to go through). If not, can you add another display option in the “Previous Attempts” section to show the questions in random order like in the exam instead of only by category, please?

      Hi JR, for me the browser (Chrome) auto-refresh issue started to surface from Review Set 4 (Jul 31) & got worse by Review Set 5 in Aug. The result page (showing total & category scores with the questions and answers) that appeared after the quiz session would refresh in the browser after a short period of time even while I was still actively scrolling through the page to review/take notes of the questions and answers. Ouch! 😳

      Back in July, when I took Review mode Set 1, 2 & 3, the result page stayed put while I was on it until I was done & clicked the “Continue” button near the score tally. I imagine quite hard to pinpoint if the browser auto refresh issue was caused by Chrome updates by Google or some specific web portal setting changes by TD, but the Chrome setting that frees up inactive browser tabs should not apply in my case, given the result page tab was active while I was busy scrolling through it.

      Currently, all the previous attempts of quizzes listed in the “Course Progress” section on your portal only displays the questions in each quiz set by category (with sub filters in those 4 categories). Is it possible add a configuration that shows questions in each quiz set in randomized order of the categories similar that shown in the quiz/exam session and on the result page, please?

        We’ve attempted to replicate the auto-refresh issue on our end, but unfortunately, we haven’t encountered it. Please refer to the attached screencast below.

        To better understand the problem, could you please provide a screencast demonstrating how the issue occurs on your side? This will help us pinpoint the issue and find a solution more effectively. Additionally, please make sure to do the following:

        • Provide the specific error message seen in the browser’s console log.
        • Try accessing the site using a different browser to check if the issue persists.
        • Check if your current browser has any settings or extensions that might have caused this issue.

          Hello JR, thanks for your response. There is no error when the browser refresh happened after I finished the quiz session for Review Set 4 & 5 and in the middle of scrolling through the Result Page to review questions. I was returned to the quiz page to start the quiz again (see screenshot). I didn’t time how long the Result Page stayed on before the browser refresh “washed” it away – could be an hour or longer, but in July when I took Review Set 1, 2 & 3, the Result Page stayed on until I finished reviewing all 75 questions (for hours on end) and manually clicked the “Continue” button to dismiss it.

          Since Aug, the browser refresh just happened without warning. I have not added any extension or changed browser settings. Google does auto push tons of chrome updates, and if TD portal has also done some updates in between, it will be quite hard to pin point the cause. I can try a different browser next time I take a quiz (review or timed mode) – this will take time.

          May I suggest a workaround for this issue? Currently the (attempted) quiz sets in the “Course Progress” section on your portal only shows the questions in each quiz set by category (with sub filters in the 4 categories). Could you add another option to show the questions in each quiz set in random order similar to how they appear in the quiz/exam session and shown on the Quiz Result Page after the quiz/exam session please?
