Expiring courses

Hi there,
I realize this might seem a little odd, but I only just noticed that the platform will even expire courses that have not yet been started – I do understand that the offer reads “Unlimited Access for 1 Year”, but I would definitely suggest to at least clarify that this applies SINCE THE PURCHASE of the course and not since starting the course – obviously, the latter is what I expected, and letting courses expire since first access/starting the course would be the best compromise in my opinion.
Thanks & all the best

Hello B.King,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts with us. We completely understand how this might be a bit confusing, especially if you were expecting the course expiration to begin from the date of first access rather than the date of purchase.
To clarify, our policy states that the one-year access period starts from the date of purchase, which is why courses are set to expire after that time. We understand this might not align with everyone’s expectations, and we appreciate your feedback.
We agree that offering flexibility where the expiration begins after the first-course access could be a valuable consideration, and we will look at it and might consider your suggestion as we evaluate our policies. At this time, though, the current expiration policy remains in place.
We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’re here to assist with any other questions you may have. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and for your continued support.
Regards,

Hi, thanks for getting back in touch.
Again, I do realize that this is what the policy says – and I didn’t expect you to change it.
However, I would definitely suggest to advertize this differently (explicitly) and also fix up the corresponding logos/buttons and offers accordingly, and also provide a click-able info link/tooltip to prevent such misunderstandings in the future.
Thanks & all the best

Hello B. King,
Thank you for your feedback, and I appreciate your understanding. I completely see your point about how this could be communicated more clearly. We do mention the course expiration both on our homepage and the individual course pages, but I understand there might still be some confusion.
Could you please let us know which logos or buttons you think need to be fixed? We’ll make sure to review them and adjust them as needed.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, and all the best to you as well!
Kind regards,
