Generic Exam Prep Questions

Is there any way to determine the base number of questions in the population of the exam? For example, if this is for a Microsoft exam for between 45-55 questions, do you let us know if we are drawing from a pool of 130 questions?
Do you periodically add to the question pool for published exams? For example, expand the 130 to 220 questions?

The Randomized Tests are the only practice test mode that draws a set number of questions from our question bank. The other practice test modes (such as Review Mode and Timed Mode) use fixed question sets.

We don’t publicly disclose the total number of questions in the randomized question pool, as it varies by course and is continually maintained. Yes, we do periodically update our published practice exams by adding new questions, revising existing ones, and removing or replacing outdated content to keep them aligned with the latest exam objectives and changes from the certification providers.

Perhaps then, there’s an issue with my AI-901 course?

I have take each of the types of exam, diagnostic, section, timed, and randomized. After the long timed exam (2nd) I noticed that I knew *ALL* of the following questions in the later exams scoring almost perfect scores. This felt like a test exam bank with only a population of 55-65 questions which cannot be right, can it? Would it be possible for someone to see if some setting or condition is stuck behind the scenes? Otherwise I have memorized the test and it is not really doing me much good now.

What you’re experiencing is expected. The Timed Mode uses a fixed set of questions, so after taking it once or twice, it’s normal to become familiar with the questions and see repeated content in subsequent attempts.

If your goal is to continue challenging yourself with a wider variety of questions, we recommend using the Randomized Test mode instead. Unlike Timed Mode, the Randomized Test draws a fresh set of questions from our question bank for each attempt, making it a better option for ongoing practice and reinforcing your understanding of the concepts rather than memorizing a fixed set.

Based on what you’ve described, we don’t see any indication that there’s an issue with your account or course settings. However, if you notice anything unusual while using the Randomized Test, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to investigate further.
