Question prefix: “A government agency plans to store confidential tax documents on AWS. Due to the sensitive information”
In the image it’s claimed that “Object Lock can only be created during bucket creation”, that is deprecated information, I attach a screenshot from the AWS console where I can enable Object Lock for the bucket that was created earlier. In the question review it states “You enable Object Lock when you create a bucket.” which is not inaccurate, but is not the whole truth.

Hello Learn3r.31337,
Thank you for your valuable feedback and for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the outdated information in the explanation. Yes, you are correct that Amazon S3 now has the ability to enable Object Lock on existing buckets, which was not previously possible. Please note that this is only feasible when Bucket Versioning is enabled first or if you enable it together with Object Lock. We appreciate the screenshot and the article you provided as evidence of this update.
We will update this item as necessary to reflect the change and ensure accuracy and completeness. Your input helps us maintain the quality and reliability of our resources, and we greatly appreciate your effort in pointing this out.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Thank you for helping us improve our materials.
Regards,
