Q. 19 review – incorrect partial answer

In review mode, Question 19 seems to have an incorrect answer.

“Action”: “s3:PutObject” –> this seems to only allow for writing, not for reading, when going over AWS docs on the subject: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/API/API_PutObject.html

Can someone from the tutorialsdojo team please investigate and advise if that is the case and update the question accordingly?

Hello br456,

The first statement (“Action”: [“s3:Get*”, “s3:List*”] with “Resource”: “*”) already covers the read and list permissions across all buckets, including team-palawan.

The second statement simply adds the ability to write objects into the team-palawan bucket. So the reading capability doesn’t come from PutObject. It’s provided by the Get* actions in the first statement.
