    Hi Tutorials Dojo Team,

I have a question regarding Timed Mode Set 3 – AWS Certified Developer Associate, Question 11 under “Troubleshooting and Optimization.”

The scenario asks for monitoring additional EC2 instance-level metrics such as memory utilization, swap usage, and the count of idle and active processes.

From my understanding, the most appropriate solution should be to install and configure the Amazon CloudWatch Agent / unified CloudWatch Agent on the EC2 instance. AWS documentation shows that the CloudWatch Agent can collect Linux metrics such as memory, swap, and process-related metrics.

    However, the available option says:

“Install the Amazon CloudWatch Logs agent to the EC2 instance.”

I think this may be inaccurate or outdated because the CloudWatch Logs agent is mainly for sending log data to CloudWatch Logs, while the CloudWatch Agent is used for collecting both logs and system-level metrics.

Could you please confirm whether this option should be updated to “Install and configure the Amazon CloudWatch Agent on the EC2 instance”?

    Thank you.
