This question talks about high availability and scalability, I was analyzing the answers and none didn’t make much sense, the one I marked I thought about the question of LoadBalancer using 3 subnets, which is the default when we create the service to have it in 3 public subnets.

About the question that they took for granted, if I create the nat gateway it is only available in an AZ so not having high availability, in order to have high availability they would have to deploy one in acda AZ as mentioned in the explanation of the answer, however the answer itself in the question of much margin for error. Since the Nat Gateway itself does not have high availability.

    Hi Marcos,

NAT gateways are highly available by design, with automatic failover in case of a failure. In contrast, a NAT instance must be manually replaced if it fails, which can result in downtime and impact the availability of resources in the private subnet.

However, we appreciate the feedback, and our team will take a look into this and will review the options.

Should we make changes, we’ll upload the update as soon as possible to reflect it on the practice exams.

    Hope this helps.
