    Suggested answer indicates

    “Install the Unified CloudWatch Logs agent to all on-premises and AWS
    resources to collect the system and application logs. Store the
    collected data in an Amazon S3 bucket in a central account.”

    However the CloudWatch Agent can only log to a CloudWatch Log Group, not S3. Since the question indicates ” LEAST amount of effort to implement” please include the additional steps required to stream the LogGroup logs to S3.

    Good day!
    Thank you for posting here.
    Yes that’s right the CloudWatch Agent can only log to a CloudWatch Log Group. The process of storing the collected data can be done by for example using AWS Lambda to write logs to S3.
