Timed mode test pause and resume removes all answers prior to pause from results

In timed mode, when I pause a test and then resume it later, all questions for which I had submitted answers before pausing are lost from the quiz results. I tried logging off after pause but when I again resumed the quiz I had the same problem. My results are displayed based only on answers I gave after resuming. Plus all the answers I gave before pause are not reflected in the detailed explanations in the test summary screen. So I have no way of knowing if I had given the correct answer or not. Pretty bad user experience. I have seen lots of issues with pause and resume reported on the forum. I hope the owners/admins will do something about it.
