The question below seems unclear. Particularly, the “identify” part. Based on the correct answer, it seems these are the responsibilities that can be *eliminated*.

The Green highlighted (correct) answers are what will go away completely if you go to Azure because they are all on premise only.

It says:

– managing _on premise_ data security.

– Managing cooling systems(Air conditioning in the server room is an example)

– Procurement of additional hardware is also physical on premise.

You will however be responsible for patching with the IaaS Service and
Managing permissions and backup with IaaS and PaaS services.

I completely understand what you mean. If it is meant to say “go away completely”, then I guess it is better to word the question to say “go away completely” rather than say “… should you identify”.

I saw this exact question in the practice test today. I didn’t know what “identify” was referring to. I selected all the ones that would be still there. There should be more explanation after the word identify like:

– Which three responsibilities above should you identify as eliminated with the move to Azure?

– Which three responsibilities above would go away by moving to Azure?

The way it is, right now, does not convey enough information to lead the user to know what to choose.

As mentioned, this is the style that we are trying to mimic in our practice tests. Some of the questions do not explicitly show the obvious keywords or phrases that will easily point to the answer.

The scenario mentioned the reduction of on-premises datacenter responsibilities. The use of the word “reduce” implies that certain responsibilities will be minimized or eliminated due to the migration to Azure. In this context, the responsibilities most likely to be reduced or eliminated are those directly associated with managing on-premises infrastructure.
