There are a number of slides in the associate architect training that are really out of date.
For example:
Section 4, “machine learning services overview” Amazon
lookout for vision has been discontinued for years but is still mentioned in the training. Also, section 4 lesson “aws transfer and migration services” overview mentions the snow family….most of which have been discontinued.
Also section 4 lesson “data analytics” discusses aws data pipeline. That has been discontinued for several years.

Hello Szy,
Thank you for bringing these outdated topics to our attention and for providing specific examples from the course.
We acknowledge that some of the services mentioned in the videos, such as Amazon Lookout for Vision, parts of the AWS Snow Family lineup, and AWS Data Pipeline, are no longer current and should be updated to better reflect the latest AWS offerings and exam-relevant content.
We’ve forwarded your feedback to our content team, and we will review and update the affected video lessons accordingly.
We truly appreciate your help in improving the quality and accuracy of our training materials.
Best regards,

Another case where the content is REALLY out of date.
Section 7, the lesson named “Spot Instances” mentions the concepts of spot block and spot fleet. Spot block was turned off in *2021*. Spot fleet has the following banner on the aws documentation page “
<awsui-icon name=”status-warning” variant=”error”></awsui-icon>Important
We strongly discourage using Spot Fleet because it uses a legacy API with no planned investment. If you want to manage your instance lifecycle, use EC2 Fleet instead. If you don’t want to manage your instance lifecycle, use an Auto Scaling group instead. Use Spot Fleet only if you need console support for a use case where you would use EC2 Fleet.”

Hello sszyszkiewicz,
Thanks for the follow-up. You’re right, Spot Block has been unavailable to new customers since 2021, and AWS now discourages Spot Fleet in favor of EC2 Fleet or Auto Scaling groups.
We’ve added this to our content review, and the team will update the “Spot Instances” lesson. Appreciate you flagging it!
Best regards,
Irene @ Tutorials Dojo
