The service endpoint is the URL entry point to an AWS Service. The comparison that’s being made on the “service endpoint” section of the cheat sheet is whether the service is publicly accessible or only accessible thru VPC.
EBS and EFS can only be accessed within a VPC. S3 can be both accessed via a public endpoint or within a VPC.
