NAT gateways are highly available by design, with automatic failover in case of a failure. In contrast, a NAT instance must be manually replaced if it fails, which can result in downtime and impact the availability of resources in the private subnet.
However, we appreciate the feedback, and our team will take a look into this and will review the options.
Should we make changes, we’ll upload the update as soon as possible to reflect it on the practice exams.
