    Hello varun,

Thanks a lot for posting here. 🙂 Kindly see our response to your clarifications/suggestions below:

I don’t think the portal saves the progress. Each time I start the devops engineer course, the next time when I open, it asks me to start the course all over again.

    – The tests in every Timed Mode absolutely does have the capability to save your progress via the Save & Next button. Let’s say for example that you are at Question#10 out of 65. After you click Save & Next, Question#11 will be displayed. If you jump out of the set, your answers to the 10 questions are definitely saved. When you go back to that same test, you will see 10 questions that have been marked as answered throughout the test.

Just a note though: These 10 answered questions are randomly spread throughout the test because the randomization feature is activated in all tests in the Timed Mode. But the timer definitely resumes to when you left the test and previous answers are recorded.

Also regarding timed exams, there is no option currently to review the previous attempts to see what went wrong. I would like the portal to save all my attempts for exams just like Udemy does.

-This is also absolutely possible. If you go to “My Dashboard”, you’ll see a notification there that says your progress can be viewed from that page. All previous attempts are recorded in there and it’s mentioned in our FAQ page – https://portal.tutorialsdojo.com/faqs/

It would also be great if you could provide a pause button for timed tests. I understand that it could well be intentional to mimic the original exam. But sometimes there are occasions when you would need to pause the test and come back in 5 or 10 mins.

-As mentioned above, the Save & Next button can act as a Pause button that saves all previously answered items that you can come back to at a later time. We have actually made a very detailed instruction page at the start of the Timed Mode to explain this so I do hope that before answering any test in the Timed Mode any further, that you’ll take some time to go through it. Our team worked very hard to come up with these detailed instructions to ensure that you are able to make the most out of the Tutorials Dojo portal. More info can also be found in this Timed Mode FAQ page – https://portal.tutorialsdojo.com/faq-timed-mode/

Hope this helps and thanks for taking the time to post here. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Tutorials Dojo
