You are correct that the scenario does not specify the exact number of origins or regions for asset replication, only stating “multiple.” Typically, companies replicate their assets in at least two regions (commonly with one origin per region) to ensure high availability and disaster recovery. This setup maintains service continuity in case one region experiences an outage while balancing cost and operational efficiency.

    In this context, having more than four origins would likely be excessive for ensuring disaster recovery in multiple regions. A reasonable and operationally efficient solution could involve replicating the assets to two or four regions, with one origin (S3 bucket) per region, and creating an Origin Group containing those origins in CloudFront.
