When configuring a CloudFront distribution to access private content in Amazon S3, you’re not ‘creating a CloudFront user‘ in the typical sense. Instead, you set up Origin Access Control (OAC).
Origin Access Control (OAC) simplifies the process by allowing CloudFront to securely connect to the origin, and its permissions are defined through the S3 bucket policy. This ensures that only CloudFront can access the private content, enforcing security and preventing unauthorized access. For more information, please refer to this.
