Thank you for your response. Regarding my first question, above the section that you highlighted in the Microsoft documentation, it lists “SQL Server databases running on Azure VMs (Iaas)”, below in the section that you highlighted it says “Azure SQL databases”. Does this mean that both SQL Server databases running on Azure VMs and PaaS Azure Managed SQL Databases are both supported for backup to RSV? Or only “SQL Server databases running on Azure VMs”? This is where my confusion lies.
