Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

You’re correct that some of the options did not clearly specify the S3 Glacier storage class. What was previously referred to simply as S3 Glacier is now called S3 Glacier Flexible Retrieval.

We’ll make the necessary updates to reflect the current naming. Even with that clarification, S3 Glacier Deep Archive is still the more cost-effective choice for data accessed infrequently and retained for up to 10 years.
