Instead of merely referring to compliance reports, I believe the key phrase is “third-party cybersecurity and compliance datasets.” Accessing and receiving notifications of updates to AWS and participating ISV compliance documents are the primary purposes of AWS Artifact. AWS Data Exchange, on the other hand, is designed to receive new revisions as publishers release them by subscribing to third-party datasets like risk metrics, threat intelligence, and compliance data feeds. This explains why the official response cites AWS Data Exchange. When I was getting ready for AIF-C01, I found that comparing these similar AWS services to the explanations in CertifyCerts was very helpful because they explained why one option was better than another rather than just answering the question.
