AWS PlayCloud Sandbox
To maintain a fair usage environment for everyone, we have implemented certain service limits that we ask you to observe during your usage of the sandbox. If you need access to services or features beyond these limits, please let us know. We value your input and will consider it for future updates.
Service Limits
Amazon EC2
- Only instances of types t2.nano, t2.micro, t3.nano, t3.micro are allowed
- A maximum of up to 3 instances can be created at a time
- You cannot use Elastic GPUs
Amazon EBS
- You can create a maximum of 5 volumes
- Only gp2 and gp3 EBS volume types are allowed
- A single EBS volume should not exceed 30 GB
Elastic Load Balancing
- Only load balancers of type Application Load Balancer and Network Load Balancer are allowed.
AWS IAM
- Creation of roles is not allowed
- Select the ‘PlayCloud-Sandbox’ role when a service requires an existing role.
AWS Glue
- Creation of a job engine with Spark and Ray type is not allowed.
- Only Python Shell is allowed.
Amazon Comprehend
- You can only navigate the Real-time analysis.
Amazon Polly
- You can only try the Text-to-Speech functionality.
- Adding EventBridge rules under the default event bus is allowed.
- You cannot create a custom event bus
AWS Lambda
- Lambda Function Configuration Limits: Up to 512 GB of memory and 512 GB ephemeral storage allowed.
Amazon RDS
- Allowed Database Engines: MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Only DB instances of types db.t2.micro and db.t3.micro are allowed
- 20 GB maximum DB instance storage
- A Multi-AZ configuration is allowed (maximum of 2 DB instances)
Amazon DynamoDB
- You can provision up to 5 RCU and 5 WCU for DynamoDB tables.
Amazon EventBridge
- Adding EventBridge rules under the default event bus is allowed.
- You cannot create a custom event bus
Amazon Rekognition
- Only Image Label detection and Image properties are allowed.
Amazon Textract
- Only Analyze Document is allowed.
