website not functioning. The check button froze, Summarize & Finish quiz showing progress bar for long but not completing.

Hello KBO,

Thanks for raising this issue. We’re very sorry to hear that the results page is freezing on your screen. Prior to taking the exam, was the site left open without any activity for a long period of time? Our current platform allows our users to re-authenticate sessions after 3 hours of inactivity. If you have not been doing anything on the page for 3 hours, the server will time out your session. This is done for security reasons and to help increase the overall speed of the website.

For succeeding attempts, we do recommend closing other tabs, sitting through the test without leaving the screen for a prolonged time, and ensuring that you don’t lose net connection during the duration of the test. Make sure also that you do not leave the site open overnight or without any activity for an extended period of time as this will cause the session to be terminated. The best practice is to start a new session before attempting any test, especially the long ones, to ensure that your progress will be saved. Simply reload the site, log in, select the course, and take the test.

I wanted to calculate the time taken to finish the test, hence did not pause the test. The issue started after attempting 13 questions. I could get to read rest of the questions but could not check/save the answers. I logged in from another window when the issue started. I do not remember whether the session was new when I started the test.
