AZ-104 Microsoft Review Mode Set 2 – question 40 issue/clarification
-
It appears there might be multiple issues with the answer provided for this question. First, the answer states “this scenario states that you will add a new inbound security rule that allows port 3389 traffic from the Internet using TCP protocol to TDSG-TDSub1 and TDSub1.” This is NOT accurate. The scenario states “TDSG-TDSub1 uses default inbound security rules while TDSG-TD1 has the default inbound security rules with a custom rule”:
Name: RDP
Priority: 100
Source: Any
Source port range: *
Destination: *
Destination port range: 3389
Protocol: UDP
Action: Allow
At this time, TDSG-TDSub1 and TDSG-TD1 are different; the same security rule allowing port 3389 traffic using TCP is NOT configured on both the subnet and NIC. Second issue, the first NSG custom rule attached to TDSG-TD1 states UDP, not TCP.
The answer states indicated is “YES” that it meets the goal of the question but it does not appear to do so as written. Could you please review and correct as needed.
