Hello Gurpreet,

Amazon EventBridge is CloudWatch events plus extra features. Under the hood, EventBridge and CloudWatch events operates under the same service API. The primary difference is the addition of features such as event data sourcing from 3rd party providers, the ability to create custom event buses, and event schema discovery.
