Following the “Hands-On Labs: Using S3 Object Lock Lab”, I am not able to create a folder as per the lab instruction and receive the following error message (see attached image)

Yet, I can see a bunch of other students were able to (see attached image) following the naming convention from the lab

      Hello Stitched,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It seems that the issue was due to an update in S3, which automatically encrypts S3 buckets using SSE-S3 encryption. The current permissions granted to students do not allow them to use S3-managed KMS keys.

We’re currently working on fixing the issue and will keep you updated on its progress. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

      Regards,

      Carlo @ Tutorials Dojo

      Hello Stitched,

We have already resolved the permission issue.

You should now be able to create folders in the S3 bucket.

If you encounter any issues like this again, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

      Thank you,

      Carlo @ Tutorials Dojo
