what happens to applied governance mode when object transitions to s3 glacier

when object lock applied with governance mode on s3 object in standard storage class, The objects are allowed to transition to other storage classes. If the locked object is transitioned to s3 glacier then what happens to governance mode. In the AWS documentation it says that WORM policy can be applied to s3 glacier vault lock. Could you please tell S3 glacier vault lock WORM policy comes under which compliance mode. If a legal hold is applied for S3 standard storage class (Governance mode) then what happens when the object is transitioned to S3 glacier.
