    Hi,

    “print media company” scenario

In one of the answers it is mentioned ‘the commercial search application’ but in the scenario/question there is only mentioning of ‘Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software’

It wasn’t clear to me that these 2 were the same…so I picked the wrong answer (OK to be fair, I also didn’t know about CloudSearch…)

Maybe make this a bit clearer somehow?

    Cheers,
    Robert

    Hi Robert,

The scenario says that the on-premises web application allows anyone around the globe to search its back catalog and retrieve individual newspaper pages on their web portal. This application uses a commercial Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software that automatically converts images to a text file. The “commercial search application” in the option simply refers to this web application.

The OCR must be replaced by another service, like Amazon Rekognition while the search application can be replaced by CloudSearch.

To avoid any confusion, I have updated the option to provide more clarity. Let us know if you need further assistance. The Tutorials Dojo team is dedicated to help you pass your AWS exam on your first try!
